The Financial Controller role in the industrial sector requires expertise in accounting and finance to oversee financial operations. Description Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports for management review. Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting. Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance. Manage and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals. Profile A successful Financial Controller should have: Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing sector. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £68,000 to £70,000 per annum. 25 days of annual holiday leave.
