This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to contribute to a business in the industrial and manufacturing sector on a fixed-term contract. Based in Thame, this role focuses on month end, VAT filing, ledger reconciliations and systems change

Description
Reporting to the Controller you are tasked with:
- Setting up an effective Cash Flow Forecasting and Management process
- Create and deliver and effective month-end close process
- File VAT as required.
- Reconciliation of ledgers/ bank/ balance sheet
- Support the team as they transition to a new finance system
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA). ESSENTIAL
- Experience in Month end close, VAT submission, balance sheet reconciliations ESSENTIAL
- Proficiency in accounting software ( eg: Xero, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Commutable to the office 3 days per week ( 2 days from home)
- Available to interview and start IMMEDIATELY
Job Offer
- Competitive salary range of Β£45000 to Β£55000 per annum.
- Flexible working arrangement: 3 days in the Oxford office, 2 days from home.
