Description
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to support monthly forecasts, quarterly guidance, and annual budgets.
- Provide insight into sales, margins, and overheads to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver accurate, data-driven analysis.
- Conduct scenario planning and 'what-if' analysis to assess the impact of business changes.
- Month-End & Reporting
- Support the Controller in month-end close activities and ensure compliance with corporate and SOX controls.
- Review journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with the preparation of management reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Costing & Manufacturing Support
- Analyse product costing, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and Work Centre data.
- Support labour and overhead rate reviews and process improvements within manufacturing.
- Partner closely with operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
Profile
- Newly qualified or finalist (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or equivalent.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial finance (desirable).
- Strong Excel skills, with exposure to ERP systems; Power BI experience advantageous.
- Solid understanding of standard costing and management accounting principles.
- Analytical and commercially minded, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
- High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Organised and resilient, able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Job Offer
