We are seeking a Senior HR Advisor with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for developing talent in the Transport & Distribution industry. The role is based in Tilbury and requires strong experience within Employee Relations.
Our client is a large organization within the Transport & Distribution industry. They have a strong presence in the UK and are known for their commitment to excellence and employee development. The company values innovation and sustainable practices, making it a front-runner in its field. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to be based at their offices in Tilbury. The successful candidate will be confident managing ER cases from start to finish, including complex grievances and disciplinaries.
Description
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
- Leading talent development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Providing guidance on employment law and compliance issues.
- Coordinating recruitment activities to attract top talent.
- Supporting the HR team in strategic planning and project management.
- Assisting in the management of HR metrics and reporting.

Profile
- A successful Senior HR Advisor should have:
- CIPD qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience in a HR Advisor role with extensive experience managing Employee Relations cases from start to finish.
- Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision making.
- Live locally to Tilbury.
