Description
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Proactively chase overdue accounts and resolve outstanding payment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of credit control activities and customer interactions.
- Generate and distribute regular statements and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address account discrepancies.
- Assess and mitigate credit risks by analysing customer creditworthiness.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Profile
The successful Credit Controller will have:
- Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting function.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- An understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
