We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller who is fluent in German to join a reputable organisation in the financial services industry. Based in London, this role requires expertise in managing credit control processes and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Description

  • Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding balances and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
  • Support account reconciliations and investigate/resolution of payment discrepancies.
  • Accurately post and allocate incoming payments, including bank transfers and direct debits.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries relating to invoices and account balances.
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities and financial reporting.
  • Prepare AR reports and provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required.

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

  • Fluency (written & verbal) in German.
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or finance support role.
  • Basic understanding of core accounting principles.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong accuracy bias.
  • Confident Excel skills and strong data entry capability.
  • Experience using ERP systems; NetSuite experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
