The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations across multiple sites, and will work closely with the operations team to provide financial insights that drive performance and support strategic growth.

Description

Act as the primary finance contact for Operations and Site Management teams

Take full ownership of key P&L areas, ensuring accuracy and insight

Produce and interpret financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement or growth

Play a central role in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles

Develop and maintain meaningful KPIs to monitor and drive operational performance

Provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning

Contribute to broader business initiatives, including system upgrades and process improvements

Profile

Typically brings 5+ years of experience in finance, including at least 2 years in a commercial or leadership role

Proven ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and deliver actionable commercial insights to support operational decisions

Strong communicator and collaborative team player

Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, scenario planning, and profitability analysis

Advanced Excel skills with a keen eye for detail

Creative problem-solver with the ability to approach challenges from multiple angles

Able to clearly present complex findings in a straightforward, business-friendly manner

Comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior stakeholders

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
