- Lead charity and not-for-profit audit engagements end to end, taking ownership from planning and risk assessment through to finalisation and partner sign-off.
- Apply and interpret charity-specific accounting and regulatory requirements, fund accounting, income recognition, and governance reporting.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for trustees, finance directors and senior stakeholders, providing clear, practical advice on technical and judgemental matters.
- Review audit files and statutory accounts, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency and compliance while meeting agreed budgets and timelines.
- Coach and develop audit team members, providing hands-on support, constructive review feedback and on the job training.
