The Commercial Business Partner role offers an exciting opportunity to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance within the business. As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted commercial partner to senior stakeholders and operational leaders. You will build close relationships across the business, using insight, analysis and financial modelling to identify opportunities and influence decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with operational and revenue-generating teams to drive performance and profitability
  • Identifying and leading profit improvement initiatives, working cross-functionally to deliver them
  • Developing and presenting pricing proposals, including innovative and alternative pricing solutions
  • Providing clear financial insight, analysis and commentary to senior leadership
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting
  • Improving financial literacy and commercial awareness among non-finance stakeholders

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience in a commercial business, ideally working in industry as a Senior analyst/commercial management accountant/junior business partner. Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving performance improvement is essential, along with strong financial modelling and analytical skills. Experience presenting to senior leadership/Heads of department and confidence operating close to senior leadership in a fast-paced environment are also required. A commercially curious, articulate and personable approach is important.
