This role involves managing accounts payable processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment in Brighton & Hove. This is a temporary position within a well-established mid-sized organisation operating in the leisure, travel & tourism sector. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in line with company policies. Maintain accurate records of transactions within the accounting system. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls. Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as required by management. Assist in month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable. Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed. A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have: Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
