Description
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support cash flow monitoring and reporting to maintain financial stability.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient financial controls.
- Provide support for ongoing professional development, including study assistance.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
- Progress towards a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Experience in management accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools, including Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate financial information clearly.
- An interest in ongoing learning and professional development.
