Description
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a varied client portfolio
- Preparing management accounts and statutory accounts
- Processing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
- Reconciling bank accounts, balance sheet accounts and ledgers
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide support
Profile
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation experience
- Knowledge of VAT, reconciliations and financial reporting requirements
- Experience using cloud-based accounting software
- AAT qualified, studying towards ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
