Our client is a large, well-established UK organisation headquartered in Birmingham, with a growing national footprint. Operating in a fast-moving SaaS environment, the organisation delivers technology-enabled solutions to a broad customer base and is focused on continued growth, scalability, and operational maturity.

The business is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to help define, shape, and deliver this strategically critical initiative. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, the role will take ownership of a key pillar of the transformation agenda, coordinating a portfolio of interdependent, finance-sponsored projects focused on internal growth, systems improvement, and scalable change.

Operating within a fast-paced SaaS environment, this is a high visibility assignment requiring strong programme level governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to bring structure to an early stage programme.

  • Own and govern a portfolio of multiple, concurrent transformation projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and management of interdependencies.
  • Establish and chair programme governance forums, providing clear reporting on status, risks, metrics, decisions, and change.
  • Work closely with project leads to embed consistent controls, reporting, and delivery discipline.
  • Identify, manage, mitigate, or escalate programme risks and issues relating to delivery, cost, timelines, tools, and resources.
  • Complete post-project retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior finance leaders, executives, and transformation sponsors across the organisation.

You will be a senior Programme Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex transformation initiatives within technology-led or SaaS organisations.

  • Experience leading multi-project, high visibility programmes, ideally in PE backed environments.
  • Strong exposure to systems and tool implementation and process-led transformation.
  • Confidence working in ambiguity, helping define and structure programmes that are not yet fully formed.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior finance and executive sponsors.
  • Programme/project management certification (PRINCE2, PMI or equivalent preferred).
  • Organisational Change Management experience (PROSCI or equivalent preferred).
