My client is looking for someone familiar with the management accounts processes and someone who is ambitious to progress to become a qualified accountant. Description
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Support year-end activities including liaising with external auditors.
- Support in posting of journals, accruals analysis, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile balance sheets and investigate any discrepancies.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives including the development and implementation of internal control procedures.
Profile
- A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- Part Qualified in AAT, ACCA, CIMA, is preferred but not essential.
- Have gained working exposure to management accounts duties.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
