  • Description
  • Support and deliver tax due diligence projects on buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Advise clients on acquisition structures and the tax implications of proposed transactions.
  • Prepare and analyse due diligence reports, identifying key tax risks and opportunities.
  • Review financial and tax data, ensuring robust and accurate analysis.
  • Attend and lead due diligence meetings with target businesses and management teams.
  • Assist in presenting findings and recommendations directly to clients.
  • Work closely with specialists across corporate tax, VAT, employment taxes, transfer pricing and international tax teams.
  • Build relationships with lawyers, banks, private equity firms and other deal advisers.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, budgets and business development initiatives.
  • Undertake technical tax research and provide commercially focused recommendations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced transaction environment.
  • Profile
  • ATT, ACA or CTA qualified, or approaching qualification.
  • Strong UK tax experience, ideally gained within practice.
  • Corporation tax compliance experience is essential.
  • Exposure to areas such as VAT, employment taxes, transfer pricing, R&D incentives, stamp taxes or share schemes would be advantageous.
  • Experience interpreting and applying tax legislation and technical guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify practical solutions for clients.
