A well established and successful accountancy practice based in Midsomer Norton is looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team as right hand support to the firms directors. You will have a mixed role with significant involvement in audit, as well as year end accounts and tax, managing the delivery of services to a wide range of the firms clients.
Based in Midsomer Norton, the firm has developed an excellent reputation across Somerset and further afield with clients from various industry sectors and turnovers. There will be the opportunity to carve a really influential role supporting the firms directors as a key managerial hire within this growing firm.
As an Audit and Accounts Manager, reporting directly to the firms director group, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of audit and year end accountancy and tax services across a diverse portfolio. This includes sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, OMBs, SMEs, and other clients.
You will manage teams and individuals to deliver this work, providing coaching and support to junior staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and finalising work and preparing reports.
