A growing chartered accountancy practice based in Barnstaple is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team taking on the hands-on delivery, preparation and review of year-end accounts, tax and wider services to a mixed and varied industry client portfolio. You will also support the wider team as a key addition to this successful firm.
This highly regarded, independent chartered firm of accountants has a wide-ranging client base across differing sectors, including smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs, SMEs, and larger corporate clients.
Joining as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the hands-on delivery, preparation and review of year-end accounts, tax, VAT management accounts, bookkeeping and wider accountancy services to a varied client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across wide-ranging industry sectors. You will carve a key right-hand support role to managers and partners within this successful and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants with opportunities to progress and develop as a key addition to this successful team.
You may be AAT/ACCA qualified or have developed your career through experience only. You will have a background within UK accountancy practice delivering services across year-end accounts and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of sole trade, partnership and limited company clients. You will have developed your career to the Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a career move within a firm that can offer a long-term fit and an environment within which you can carve a valued, key position supporting the wider management and partner team.
