This role focuses on bank reconciliations using Oracle Fusion Cloud in the accounting and finance department of a financial services business based in London.
You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation processes to support year end processes.
Client Details A global organisation within the financial services industry in London.
Description Lead the completion and clearance of a substantial backlog of bank reconciliations across approximately 400 accounts and 90 legal entities.
Investigate, quantify and resolve reconciling differences, including unmatched transactions, timing items, FX variances, cash pooling movements, sweep activity and intercompany balances, maintaining a robust audit trail throughout.
Manage and reconcile SAP-to-Oracle cash sweeps and cash pooling activity, ensuring timely resolution of in-transit items between systems.
Optimise Oracle Fusion Cloud Cash Management processes, including bank statement processing, auto-reconciliation rules, matching tolerances and exception management, to improve automation and operational efficiency.
Coach, train and mentor the existing finance team through hands-on support and structured knowledge transfer, enabling long-term self-sufficiency.
Provide guidance on reconciliation best practice, controls, governance, month-end processes, segregation of duties and KPI reporting.
Develop and implement documented procedures, process maps, playbooks and governance frameworks to support a successful handover and sustainable operating model.
Profile Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
Proven Oracle Fusion Cloud Cash Management experience, including bank reconciliation configuration and optimisation.
Strong track record of performing and reviewing high-volume bank reconciliations in complex, multi-entity, multi-currency and international environments.
Demonstrable experience identifying and resolving reconciliation issues efficiently and accurately, with a strong controls mindset.
Working knowledge of bank statement formats, banking platforms and connectivity feeds.
Strong understanding of month-end close processes, financial controls and reconciliation best practice.
Proven ability to coach, mentor and upskill finance teams, driving knowledge transfer and process improvement.
UK-based with the right to work in the UK.
Job Offer Competitive daily rate between £550 - 750, dependent on the level of experience.
