Description
- Work as a key member of the Audit Team
- Role split 30% Audit 70% Accounts and Taxation
- Assist in the preparation of accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Support the completion of tax returns and other required documentation.
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with senior team members on audits and other client projects.
- Provide support for payroll processing and VAT returns.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information and address queries.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
- A successful Audit and Accounts Senior/Semi-Senior should have:
- Be ACCA or ACA Part Qualified with experience of carrying out Audits
- A strong academic background, ideally with a focus on accounting or finance.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- A willingness to learn and work towards a professional accounting qualification.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools is an advantage.
