We are seeking an Audit Senior or Semi Senior to join the professional services industry and support the Accounting & Finance department. This permanent role in Verwood offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and further your career with a training contract.

Description

  • Work as a key member of the Audit Team
  • Role split 30% Audit 70% Accounts and Taxation
  • Assist in the preparation of accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Support the completion of tax returns and other required documentation.
  • Conduct bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on audits and other client projects.
  • Provide support for payroll processing and VAT returns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information and address queries.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

  • A successful Audit and Accounts Senior/Semi-Senior should have:
  • Be ACCA or ACA Part Qualified with experience of carrying out Audits
  • A strong academic background, ideally with a focus on accounting or finance.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • A willingness to learn and work towards a professional accounting qualification.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools is an advantage.
