Verallo is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager to manage a client portfolio and oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT filings, and management accounts. Description

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

  • Review year-end statutory accounts for senior management approval

  • Review corporation tax computations and returns

  • Complete and review monthly/quarterly VAT returns across various VAT schemes

  • Review monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard

  • Liaise with clients on technical accounting and software-related queries

  • Support the development, training, and workflow management of junior team members

  • Deliver high-quality client service and maintain strong relationships

  • Provide ad-hoc support to Partners as required

Profile

  • ACA or ACCA prt-qualified

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Hands-on, proactive, and client-focused approach

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • A team player with a strong work ethic and drive

  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
