As an Assistant Accounts Manager in Holmfirth, you'll play a key role in managing financial processes and supporting the accounting team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Manager: Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a key point of contact.

Review statutory accounts and management accounts prepared by junior team members.

Ensure client deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard.

Support, mentor, and develop trainees and junior staff.

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Assist with resolving technical accounting queries.

Work closely with senior management on client engagements and advisory projects.

Contribute to the continued growth and success of the accounts department.

Profile The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and a strong understanding of accounts preparation and client management.

They will be organised, proactive, and confident reviewing work, managing deadlines, and building strong client relationships.
