The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

The successful candidate will be joining a family run business, who are a multi award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants, tax and business advisers in Cumbria and Lancashire, led by the same senior management team and partners for the last 25 years.

The role of an Accounting Technician is to maintain financial records, prepare VAT returns and Financial Accounts.

Well respected in the accounting profession with a plethora of awards for recognition as an impressive employer and great accounting firm.

  • General office duties
  • Recording financial transactions
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Appropriately coding invoices for Xero, QuickBooks and SAGE software packages
  • Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management

AAT qualified and on ACCA or ACA journey, or QBE.

Able to work in an organised manner to strict deadlines - planning, diary management, department systems set up and maintenance.
