This is a fantastic temporary opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to start ASAP. The role is based in Braunstone and is for 3 months initially. This is an office-based role, and you could either do 4 or 5 days.

Description
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Financial reporting
- Assist with audit duties
- Deal with queries
- Raise sales invoices, help out with ledger work
- Reconciliations
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues and stakeholders.
