Description
- Manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports for senior management.
- Supervise and guide a small team within the accounts department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise billing processes.
- Monitor and manage aged debt, implementing effective credit control measures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and credit control practices.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
