Michael Page are working with an established manufacturing organisation in South Leeds, outside of the city centre who are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their reputable finance team. The market leading business has a brand new opportunity which includes key duties of the accounts payable function such as invoices, payment runs, supplier reconciliations and more. This position is hybrid working and is salaried up to £28,000.
As Accounts Payable Assistant reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the accounts payable finance function with key duties that include invoices and payment runs. Alongside this, you will contribute with responsibilities such as supplier reconciliations, statement reconciliations and ownership of the ledger.
Profile:
- Experience of accounts payable is necessary.
- Key knowledge of either invoices, payment runs, supplier reconciliations, statement reconciliations, VAT returns, ledger or accruals is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable with finance software.
- Key eye for detail.
