The Accounts Receivable Assistant will focus on managing incoming payments and maintaining financial records with precision. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with a background in accounting and finance who are comfortable with picking up the phone and communicating with individuals at all levels.
Please note that this role is office based and is part-time (25-30 hours a week). The company values accuracy in its financial operations and seeks a professional to support its accounting and finance team.
- Process and record incoming payments accurately into the accounting system
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collections
- Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements to clients
- Assist with month-end reconciliation for accounts receivable
- Maintain detailed and organised financial records for audits
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account statuses
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting
- Answering incoming queries over phone/email
A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:
- Experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
