Description
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees - salary and hourly pay.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to support financial reporting.
- Prepare and submit required payroll reports to relevant authorities.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements in payroll systems.
- Provide support during payroll audits as required.
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- Strong end to end payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of pensions, Tax and NI.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle queries effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to take the lead on all payroll operations as sole payroll person
- CIPP Qualification preferable but not essential
Job Offer
- Salary paid as day rate equivalent of up to Β£43,000
- Hybrid minimum 2 days in the office
- Possibility to go perm.
