Description
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, the Treasury Accountant will be responsible for managing treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment monitoring, while also contributing to finance integration and transformation projects across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who combines strong technical treasury expertise with a passion for process improvement, automation, and systems optimisation.
Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning and liquidity management.
Produce accurate short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
Monitor and report on borrowings, investments, and covenant compliance.
Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions.
Support the delivery of finance transformation and integration programmes.
Identify opportunities to automate treasury and finance processes, reducing manual intervention and improving controls.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across treasury operations and financial reporting.
Support the implementation and optimisation of finance systems and reporting tools.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare treasury-related reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Work collaboratively across finance and operational teams to support strategic objectives.
Profile
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Demonstrable treasury accounting experience within a complex organisation.
Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking facilities, and financial controls.
Proven experience supporting finance transformation, integration, or system implementation projects.
Advanced automation and process improvement expertise, with the ability to streamline and enhance financial processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or finance systems.
Job Offer
