We're looking for a Geology Technician (FTC until December 2027) to join our UK Hub Exploration Geology Team based at Quarry Close, Nanpean. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a geology-related degree who is looking to develop practical experience in exploration, drilling and mineral resource activities.

Description
Exploration & Drilling Support
- Preparing and handling drill core.
- Logging geological information from drilling programmes.
- Measuring core recovery and recording geological data.
- Preparing and submitting samples for laboratory testing.
Geological Activities
- Supporting geological mapping projects.
- Assisting with grade control activities.
- Working alongside mine geologists and operational teams.
- Collecting and recording geological information.
Data & Reporting
- Maintaining geological records and databases.
- Digitising historical geological information.
- Supporting geological reporting activities.
- Ensuring data is recorded accurately and consistently.
Profile
Essential Criteria
- Degree qualified in Geology, Mining Geology, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in exploration, geology and mineral resources.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling activities associated with the role.
