Our client is a leading, independent accountancy firm in Sevenoaks.

Our client has a very low turnover of staff (this role came about via a retirement).

  • Description
  • Prepare and review personal tax and Making Tax Digital (MTD) returns with minimal supervision.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients (circa 225), acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring excellent client service.
  • Prepare and submit P11Ds, benefits-in-kind calculations, and employer Class 1A NICs, providing guidance on compliance requirements.
  • Produce accurate tax computations, including income tax, capital gains tax, and other personal tax matters.
  • Support, review, and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and development opportunities.
  • Handle HMRC enquiries, correspondence, disclosures, and more complex tax matters, including inheritance tax, capital gains, and non-resident issues.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities, manage client deadlines, and ensure compliance with current UK tax legislation and best practice.
