Description
Interim EMEA Payroll Specialist
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries.
- Coordinating with external payroll providers and monitoring service delivery.
- Processing complex payroll elements including equity-based compensation and other variable payments.
- Preparing payroll journals, reconciliations and supporting month-end activities.
- Ensuring statutory payments, taxes and pension contributions are processed accurately and on time.
- Supporting payroll compliance, controls and audit requirements.
- Managing payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
- Assisting with year-end reporting and statutory submissions.
- Contributing to payroll transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Creating and maintaining payroll procedures and documentation.
Profile
Interim EMEA Payroll Specialist
- Proven experience managing payroll across multiple EMEA countries (highly desirable)
- Happy to commute to the office 2x days per week (Reading)
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance and controls.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
- Payroll accounting experience, including journals and reconciliations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations or transformation projects would be advantageous.
Job Offer
Interim EMEA Payroll Specialist
- Total day rate (inclusive of holiday pay): Β£180 - Β£205 per day, dependent on experience
- Location: Reading, free parking on site
- 2x days per week in the office (Hybrid)
- 40 hours per week
- Adjustable start and finish times
- Interim (rolling) - likelihood of permanent transition
- Immediate start
