Description
Production Planning
- Creating and maintaining production plans to support customer demand and service levels.
- Monitoring inventory levels, production requirements and operational priorities.
- Coordinating production schedules across multiple sites and product groups.
- Managing production orders and planning information within SAP.
- Supporting efficient inventory and stock management.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analysing production, inventory and demand data.
- Maintaining and developing planning tools using Google Sheets and Excel.
- Producing reports and planning updates for operational stakeholders.
- Using data to support planning recommendations and business decisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Leading daily and weekly planning discussions with operational teams.
- Working closely with Logistics, Quality, Customer Service and Supply Chain colleagues.
- Influencing production priorities through data-driven planning.
- Building effective relationships across multiple sites and functions.
- Communicating information clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Identifying opportunities to improve planning processes and operational efficiency.
- Supporting business improvement projects and initiatives.
- Contributing to a culture of collaboration, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Profile
Essential Criteria
- Experience within production planning, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or a complex processing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering results.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Eligible to drive in the UK with access to personal transport.
Desirable Criteria
- SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP system experience.
- Production, inventory, demand or supply chain planning experience.
- Supply Chain qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- knowledge within manufacturing, minerals or industrial operations.
Job Offer
- Up to £34,300 salary, depending on experience
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typically 07:00-15:00
