A part time payroll officer role in central Oxford, conducting a cover, running until Aug' 27. The successful candidate needs to have a fundamental end to end payroll understanding and happy for an interim role.

Description

Payroll Officer (Part Time)

• Process payroll accurately and on time (3x payrolls, c. 250 headcount across all)
• Maintain and update employee payroll records.
• Assist with payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare payroll reports as needed.
• Support with any payroll system updates or changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Profile

Payroll Officer (Part Time)

• Experience in payroll processing (end to end)
• A good understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills to handle queries professionally.
• Immediately available or on short notice
• Ability to commute to central Oxford!

Job Offer

Payroll Officer (Part Time)

• Hourly rate of £18.00 - £22.00 per hour, dependent on the level of experience.
• Part-time, temporary role (covering until August 2027)
• c. 20-25 hours per week, spread across c. 3 days worth of work
• 1x day per week on site minimum
