Description
Provide expert advice on operational tax matters to clients.
Assist in managing and delivering tax compliance processes.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and related documentation.
Support clients in understanding and implementing changes in tax legislation.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored tax solutions.
Assist with tax audits and resolve any related queries.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry developments.
Profile
A successful Operational Tax (FS) Assistant Manager should have:
Experience gained within Product or Operational tax from within the financial services
Be nearly or part qualified in tax or audit (eg. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, ATT.)
Practical experience of dealing with operational taxes within a Financial Services context -
candidates with industry or professional services experience.
An understanding of financial markets, participants, investors (e.g., banks, brokers, institutional investors, custodians, asset managers, private equity etc) and products.
Knowledge of at least one of: Withholding Tax, Transaction Tax, Information Reporting
Experience working on the delivery of end to end projects within a team.
Job Offer
Salary between £45,000 and £50,000 dependent on the level of experience.
