Description
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with accounting principles and company policies.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to queries.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial expertise and guidance.
- Maintain and improve existing reporting processes and systems.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
- Able to commute to our client's office in Nottingham.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
