Description
As an Audit Senior, you will take a lead role in delivering audit assignments for a broad range of clients, from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate entities. You'll work closely with managers and partners while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
The role offers a combination of audit and advisory exposure, providing an excellent platform for career development and progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Preparing and reviewing audit work in line with regulatory and professional standards.
- Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team.
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact during assignments.
- Identifying audit and business risks and proposing practical solutions.
- Drafting and presenting audit findings and recommendations.
- Supporting managers and partners with client service and business development activities.
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation where required.
Profile
The successful Audit Senior will:
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Have previous audit experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Possess strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Be confident communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Have experience leading audits and supervising junior staff.
- Be proactive, organised, and keen to develop professionally.
