Description
- Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary to explain financial performance.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and reporting.
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Profile
A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience in the property industry is an advantage but not essential.
Job Offer
- Daily rate between £280 and £320, dependent on the level of experience.
