Description
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and handle queries related to outstanding balances.
- Prepare and distribute regular debtor reports to the finance team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve invoicing and collection processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Assist with credit checks and setting up new customer accounts.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence in negotiating and resolving payment issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
