Description
- Support in the preparation of month end management and financial accounts
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, payroll journals
- Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Work closely with Management Accountants and Finance Business Partners in analysis of financial information
- Contribute in improving processes and procedures
- Help maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide assistance during audits and financial reviews.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- Gained similar experience in month end accounts in an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
- Motivated to progress, develop and grow in the finance industry
- Actively studying or wanting to pursue ACCA, CIMA studies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
- The ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home after training)
- Study support in ACCA, CIMA
