Description
- Process personal expenses claims accurately within weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Process and administer purchase card applications accurately and in accordance with finance controls
- Supporting business units with reporting, analytics and issue resolution for purchase card & expenses
- Maintain agreed processing targets and service levels for employee expenses
- Review and monitor purchase card transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure employee expense process flow is effective and compliant with HMRC and company policies and procedures.
- Investigating and resolving system and processing issues.
- Responding to internal and external stakeholder expectations and delivering customer focused results in keeping with the ethos of the shared service centre.
- Assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Supporting the wider team/Finance Supervisor with adhoc finance administration activities
Profile
A successful Finance Clerk (Expenses & Purchase Card) should have:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Familiarity with processing expenses and managing purchase card transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- An understanding of financial regulations and company compliance policies.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Hourly pay between £14.00 and £16.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary position with the potential to move to a permanent role.
