Description
- Manage billing and revenue recognition, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations and minimising revenue leakage.
- Oversee VAT, tax compliance, statutory reporting and external audit requirements.
- Act as the key finance contact for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring ledger accuracy, robust controls and timely issue resolution.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities and working capital performance.
- Monitor and improve financial controls, processes and reporting across transactional finance functions.
- Support finance transformation projects, system enhancements and process automation initiatives.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Job Offer
- Salary between £45,000 and £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
