Key duties of the role include
- Lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Customer Cost & Value Models.
- Provide commercial finance support on customer tenders, pricing strategies and revenue growth initiatives.
- Analyse volume, price, mix and margin performance to identify risks, opportunities and profit improvement actions.
- Partner with Commercial teams to challenge assumptions and support effective decision-making.
- Review customer trading agreements, rebates and promotional spend to maximise profitability.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning processes.
- Develop financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities and business scenarios.
- Monitor customer profitability and identify opportunities for margin enhancement.
- Drive continuous improvement within revenue management and commercial finance processes.
- Profile
- The ideal candidate;
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong commercial finance, pricing or revenue growth management experience.
- Experience in Construction industry
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience influencing and challenging senior commercial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Previous experience supporting revenue growth, pricing or profitability initiatives.
- FMCG experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
