This is a fantastic position reporting to the Head of Finance which will be a varied role including Management Accounting and Business Partnering.
This is a 5 days on site position in Derby.
Description
- Oversee and manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance to support decision-making.
- Manage cash flow and oversee financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Supervise and support the accounting team in daily operations.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Proven expertise in financial management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Qualified by Experience or Qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
