As a Financial Controller you will report directly to the business leader, being an integral part of the leadership team and working closely with group finance, you will be responsible for managing all financial activities across the business. Client Details An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands on Financial Controller to join a well established SME business that is currently undergoing a period of positive change and investment in West Yorkshire. This position would particularly suit a qualified or qualified by experience finance professional seeking a broad role within an SME environment where they can influence decision making and contribute to the continued development of the business. Description Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting. Preparation of monthly management accounts. Supporting group reporting requirements and financial consolidations. Assisting with year-end processes. Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger activities. Processing and ownership of payroll. Daily and weekly cash flow management and forecasting. Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Providing financial analysis and performance insights to management. Reviewing and improving financial controls and procedures. Streamlining finance processes and reporting. Profile Previous experience in a standalone Finance Manager, Company Accountant or Financial Controller position. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified finance professionals are preferred, qualified by experience will be considered. A proactive and hands on approach. Strong Excel and systems skills.
