You'll work alongside Directors and Partners on a wide range of transaction tax projects, supporting private equity funds, credit investors and corporate clients through acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and refinancing transactions.

Description
- Support Directors and Partners on transaction tax and deal advisory engagements.
- Assist with buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence assignments.
- Contribute to transaction structuring projects for private equity and credit clients.
- Analyse tax-related financial and legal information to identify key risks and opportunities.
- Prepare technical tax advice covering UK and international tax matters.
- Develop an understanding of transaction funding structures and capitalisation arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial models and tax assumptions.
- Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, legal advisers and other stakeholders during transactions.
- Support the preparation of proposals, pitches and business development initiatives.
- Work closely with colleagues across tax, deals and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Coach and support junior team members and review their work where appropriate.
- Keep up to date with developments in UK corporate tax legislation and transaction tax matters.
Profile
- ACA or CTA qualified.
- Experience gained within transaction tax, corporate tax or a deals-focused tax environment.
- Strong understanding of UK corporate tax legislation and its application within transactions.
- Strong understanding of UK corporate tax principles.
- Genuine interest in mergers & acquisitions, deal advisory and private equity transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret financial information and identify commercial tax implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with financial data.
- A collaborative approach and desire to develop technical and commercial expertise.
