Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer in Wolverhampton, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Your day-to-day will involve troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to keep operations running efficiently.

This position is with a company in the Energy sector based in Birmingham.

Description

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (1 in 4 weekends on call 06:00-14:00)
  • Design and implement electrical solutions to support operational needs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
  • Identify and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Assist in upgrading and improving existing electrical systems and processes.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

Profile

A successful Electrical Engineer should have:

  • A solid background in electrical engineering within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in electrical engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
