Continued growth and investment has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to join their engineering team based near Sheffield. As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in delivering bespoke engineering solutions for complex and non-standard customer applications. Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Application Engineering and Manufacturing Be responsible for reviewing customer requirements, developing innovative design concepts and producing detailed designs that meet technical and commercial requirements You'll also act as a technical point of contact for customers and internal teams, helping to solve engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly Successful candidates will have a strong mechanical design background and will be capable of working at pace, even with bespoke designs. You will be an experienced Design Engineer and possess: HNC, HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience Previous experience within a mechanical design engineering environment Strong 3D CAD capabilities with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality designs Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance accuracy, quality and delivery timescales Competitive salary of £45-65k, depending on experience Competitive wider benefits package Chance to join a growing engineering business Opportunities for longer term progression into more senior roles as the business continues to grow
