We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Articifer) to join an established team in the Maintenance and Engineering department.
This role requires hands-on expertise in maintaining and improving industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment in St.
Helens.
Client Details A St Helens-based Manufacturing and Production business specialising in advanced glass fibre and glass cord materials, primarily used to reinforce automotive timing belts and other industrial applications.
It operates as part of a global glass manufacturing group and supplies specialised materials to customers worldwide Description As the Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Articifer) you will be tasked with the following;
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical breakdowns to restore equipment; by reviewing drawings/documentation, repair and/or redesign, in order to avoid or minimise production downtime and losses.
Repairing equipment which is predominantly Mechanical such as; Gearboxes, Belts, Sprockets, Conveyors, Drive Shafts, Ovens, Spools, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pumps etc.
- Create, modify, and review risk assessments and standard operating procedures in accordance with Group Policy, legislative requirements and industry best practice.
