This hands-on HSE role is responsible for driving a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting the implementation of robust Health, Safety & Environmental systems across multiple sites. You will lead investigations, improve standards, and play a key part in enhancing site-wide HSE performance.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop Health, Safety & Environmental systems in line with legal, ISO, and internal standards.
  • Promote a positive HSE culture through regular shop-floor presence, engagement, and behavioural improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments, SOPs, COSHH documentation, and maintain chemical substance registers.
  • Support ISO14001 accreditation and help ensure all departments remain audit-ready.
  • Deliver new starter inductions and contribute to departmental training programmes.
