Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all quality, safety, health, and environmental (QSHE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective QSHE systems and strategies to enhance operational performance.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on QSHE practices and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and report on key QSHE metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices within the manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with teams to address and resolve any QSHE-related issues promptly.
  • Act as the key point of contact for external audits and regulatory bodies.

Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant Industry experience.
  • A member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
  • A relevant professional qualification e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Experience of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice.
  • Holds appropriate professional qualification such as ISO lead auditor, OHSAS Chartered Environmentalist etc.

Job Offer:

  • Day Rate - DOE Outside IR35.
  • A minimum 3 month fixed-term contract or Day Rate offering stability and professional growth opportunities.
  • Work within a structured and supportive environment in Gatwick.
